Weather Providing Warnings

Mike Gerald from the Hattiesburg American writes about the new “Tornado Alley” in the southern states. Mr. Gerald writes, “Of more concern to the Hattiesburg area is that the southeastern belt of states, Louisiana through Georgia, has quickly become the new “tornado alley.” It wasn’t that long ago that this term described a north/south belt from Texas through Nebraska.”

He goes on to talk about the 2011 tornado in the Tuscaloosa/Birmingham area that left 64 dead and what we should do to prepare ourselves for the future.
